Another lucky weekend for the Pinktrotters team (composed this time by Eliana and Christina) who got the chance to be part of a small cool crew of journalists and bloggers for a weekend sponsored by Longines.

We left Milan by small vans in the morning of Saturday June 27th to get to Montecarlo in the early afternoon. The road from Milan to Costa Azzurra is usually very busy with traffic as it's the only road people from Milan take to get to the beach in Liguria and then to France. After few though hours, the long distance is compensated by the view of our Hotel, literally one of the best in town.

The Fairmont Montecarlo, where also Nikki Beach is located, at the rooftop bar.
And guess what we do as soon as we arrived?
Bikini and pool time, of course! Sorry, we had to rest... ;-)

We got ready in our Parosh wonderful dresses. Christina was wearing a long with skirt with big flowers and paillettes t-shirt recalling the colour of the printed flowers. Eliana was feeling like a princess in a full white dress with printed coloured roses... What do you think, were we dressed properly for Monaco?

The jumping competition was located next to the harbour, that is why we took advantage of the amazing scenery to take some good memory pictures. The vip area from where we were watching the jumping was perfectly located and we were able to follow all the athletes close-by.

Our favourite Italian participant got the third position, not bad!
The Royal family Grimaldi was present. Alberto and Charlotte awarded the first 3 athletes, together with the representatives from HSBC and Longines, sponsors of the tournament.

A proper 4 courses dinner followed the sport event and once finished, we all moved to Twiga, perfectly located right below our hotel, on the sea. Great ambience and music, the club was filled up with notorious faces and the whole Grimaldi family was present. Cool to see how down to earth they all are in simple dresses and talking to the people around them and passing by.

The day after was short but we wanted to wake up early to enjoy some sun hours at the Nikki pool and have a walk in the center before lunch and then leaving to drive back to Milan.

The Longines Global Champions Tour will be in Rome in September, get your spot now, only 8 places available!
